Position Summary:

The Implementation Project Analyst will support the implementation of various special projects for ICANN's Global Domains Division (GDD) programs. They will coordinate and monitor tasks associated with specific projects or programs. The individual will also will work under the supervision of others to execute a variety of processes in support of ongoing GDD Programs, such as the New gTLD Program. This position requires an understanding of project lifecycles and on-going development of subject matter expertise within the assigned area. The role will have the opportunity to work cross-functionally to execute various activities. The position may work with vendors to collect status and ensure progress on deliverables through to completion.

Key Responsibilities:

o Demonstrate a basic understanding of key objectives, challenges and keys to success
o Coordinate major project elements including but not limited to; issue identification and resolution; feasibility and advisability analysis; implementation activities; gathering status and adjusting project schedules, reporting and KPIs.
o Prioritize and escalate issues to the project manager or supervisor in a timely manner
o Complete project deliverables on time in adherence project schedule and management direction.
o Work with supervisor/manager to identify appropriate indicators and design reports to inform senior management of progress; assume responsibility for quality and timing of delivery
o Coordinates activities of a cross-functional implementation team comprising of subject matter experts
o Provide assistance and ensure that ongoing activities are completed successfully
o With guidance from manager / supervisor, coordinate across functions to identify, research, and resolve or recommend solutions for project or service delivery issues
o Coordinate process improvement initiatives
o Work with vendors to ensure that deliverables meet quality and timeliness expectations
o Correspond with external stakeholders to address their questions
o Prepare papers, reviews and briefings; identify metrics; and aid in data collection with direction from manager/supervisor
o Exercise good business judgment in service delivery and project execution
o Develop subject matter expertise in areas of assigned responsibility
o Develop subject matter familiarity in areas of department’s responsibility

o Perform qualitative and quantitative analysis of complex issues

o Grasp operational implications of complex issues.
o Fluent in English; multi-lingual skils are a plus.

Education and Experience Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree required
• Minimum of 1-3 years' relevant experience required
