Are you passionate about working with Partners and using innovative marketing to drive business results?  Do you understand how to market & sell with partners?   Have experience working towards shared goals with both internal teams and external partners?   If so, read on!  We have a great opportunity for an innovative & motivated partner marketing expert!

We are looking for a highly motivated team player to join the Partner Marketing Team to drive the strategy & execution of APAC Partner Marketing. In this role, you will work closely with partners to help develop and execute marketing programs that enables partners to exponentially grow there Tableau business. The Senior Partner Marketing Manager is responsible for the delivery, development and execution demand generation programs to enable Tableau partners by to identify new sales opportunities, generate qualified pipeline, and drive Tableau regional revenue.

This is a key and strategic role that requires the right balance of strategy and execution with a strong roll-up your sleeves and 'get it done' mentality. A successful candidate will be a highly motivated team player with expertise working in a fast paced, cross-functional manner to drive true impact.  You are smart, innovative and have a strong business acumen to deliver bottom-line impact.

This position is best suited for someone who is comfortable with ambiguity and enjoys building and innovating new programs.

Some of the things you'll be doing include...

  • Going to Market with Top (Managed) Partners: Develop and implement strategic co-marketing plans with top (managed) partners that support and enable the regional revenue targets. Work very closely with channel sales and field marketing to align on the go to market strategy and execution.
  • Scale Programs/Joint Marketing Campaigns – Work across the global partner marketing team and be the APAC lead to deliver on scalable/programmatic marketing programs & campaigns.
  • Planning: Obtain a deep understanding & be the subject matter expert on Partner needs and what’s needed to go to market together. Identify top approaches/offerings that will drive the best results and quickly getting them into market while continually refining and optimizing offerings/programs with agility. 
  • Funding: Build a strategy and distribute funds in partnership with field marketing to the right partners and monitor/optimize to get the largest ROI.
  • To-Partner Communications – Be the partner audience owner and deliver an end to end regional to-partner communications strategy that reinforces & positions the Tableau Partner Program. Develop a communication framework for managed & unmanaged partners that drive action and engagement.
  • Regional Partner Event(s) – Drive event requirements and work closely with the corporate events team as the regional business owner of the Partner Executive Kickoffs held once a year in region.
  • Partner Events & Sponsorship – Drive a regional partner events strategy that encompasses both partner led events, joint events and sponsored Tableau events.
  • Measurement: Continually analyze and track program success. Implement metrics to demonstrate ROI against funding and time investments.

Who you are...

  • Experienced. 7+ years of relevant work experience in partner marketing, demand generation in high-technology companies, ideally in cloud and/or enterprise software space. 
  • Domain. Experience in a business-to-business (B2B) environment, high-tech products/services required; enterprise software experience preferred. Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, communications, or relevant field of study
  • Go-Getter. Demonstrated ability to think strategically about business, product, and marketing, with the ability to build and convey compelling value propositions and marketing content around thought leadership for key campaigns and verticals.
  • Performer.  Strong in planning, operations through taking an agile project management approach. Have a strong understanding of cutting edge online & social marketing techniques and apply them to partner needs. Generate fresh ideas for partner led marketing offerings and continue to develop new approaches.
  • Excellent Communication. You know what to say and more importantly, how to say it.
  • Builder. Strong ability to wrangle with the flow of data and the ability to look beyond just the numbers to see the underlying patterns and trends so it’s delivering data driven insights that are actionable for the business to move forward. Experience collecting/interpreting data from a variety of sources to make solid business recommendations.
