Employment at Will
You understand that nothing in this employment application, the granting of an interview or your subsequent employment with us if intended to create an employment contract between you and Scoular under which your employment could be terminated only for cause. You understand and agree that, if hired, your employment will be "at will" and may be terminated by you or by us at any time and for any lawful reason. Physical Exams and Alcohol and Drug Testing
You understand that Scoular, in accordance with all applicable laws, may require pre-employment physical exams and drug and alcohol testing for all individuals who may be employed by Scoular in certain positions as well as possible drug and alcohol testing after employment for all employees. Your consent to, compliance with, and passing of such exam and testing, if applicable, is a condition of employment; and continued employment is based on the successful passing of such testing. You also consent to the release of the results and any such exams and tests to Scoular or its designee. You release Scoular and its designee from any and all liability and damages that may result or arise from any exam or test, or the provision of information in connection with such an exam or test.
Use of Company Property
By signing below, you consent and agree that your conduct and use of Scoular computer systems, telephones and other facilities or equipment will be subject to review and monitoring by Scoular, including the possible recording, listening to, and other monitoring of your telephone calls or conduct, and the review and reading of all e-mails or other materials in Scoular's computer system. You further consent and agree that your person and property will be subject to search while on Scoular premises for security and investigation purposes. If you are unable or unavailable to work for a period of time, your supervisor or a coworker may be given access to your email and voicemail. Scoular believes these conditions of employment are necessary to protect the interests of all employees and third parties with whom Scoular does business.
