Digital Project Manager

 

 

Power 106 FM and 93.5 KDAY (Meruelo Media) located in Burbank, CA, is searching for a Digital Project Manager who is an enthusiastic problem solver who thrives on being engaged in all levels of engagement. The Digital Project Manager must be able to guide both the client and the internal team to ensure both the tone of the engagement and delivery is on track. They must think quickly under pressure, motivate their teams, and own the timely and accurate delivery of engagements, as well as having the ability to read between the lines, anticipate issues, and communicate consistently and accurately across various project channels.

 

Job responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Reports directly into the VP of Digital
  • Effectively and efficiently plan and prioritize all deliverables and resources working across projects based on scope of work and project goals
  • Manages campaigns and reporting of orders submitted for programmatic buys, audience extension buys, digital marketing campaigns and Google Double Click.
  • Monitors delivery for digital campaigns and optimize campaigns where needed
  • Manage schedules, budgets, and overall project organization to ensure requirements and project deliverables are clearly communicated, understood and executed against
  • Actively monitor project risks and scope to foresee / identify potential problems and proactively identify solutions; identify refinement opportunities and deliver improvements
  • Monitor day-to-day activities of the project team and ensure work is progressing as planned
  • Create overall project management documentation including project plans and other reports.
  • Ability to work across several projects or act as the primary PM on a large-scale engagement
  • Works with DSM/AE’s to obtain all elements needed from the client to execute
  • Manage projects from start to finish, which includes defining project requirements, scheduling, trafficking creative assets, obtaining approvals and any related factors that affect project success.
  • Gather requirements for campaign and revisions in Basecamp daily and ensuring that tasks are executed on time.
  • Track project deliverables – monitor and maintain internal and external to –do’s
  • Quality control on all campaigns, which includes proactive planning on successful delivery of digital campaign with copy, links, delivery.
  • Assist in Trainings for our Digital, Marketing, Programming and Sales Teams
  • Pulls All Digital Reports with delivery to the appropriate parties

 

 

  • Interface with project stakeholders to provide status reports on project health
  • Consistently manage client expectations, ensure delivery of highest quality service, and proactively solicit and act on client feedback
  • Document and communicate project status and strategic recommendations to clients, team members and senior management on a regular basis; escalate issues accordingly via the appropriate channels
  • Continuously monitor projects status and impact on client relationship
  • Proactively forecast our clients’ needs, including identifying and helping to develop new applications to solve their future business needs
  • Create and manage proposals, estimates and SOW documentation
  • Other job related functions as required

 

Candidates must possess the following qualifications and skills:

  • College degree, preferably a BA in Marketing
  • 2 to 3 years of experience in project management, sales/media planning or buying experience at an agency/direct advertiser or publisher sales environment.
  • Superior communicator with strong interpersonal and collaborative skills
  • Proven ability to present and communicate effectively.
  • Outstanding organizational and problem solving skills.
