Apogee Integration is seeking an Administrative Assistant to work in Chantilly, VA.
The Systems Engineering Directorate (SED) Office Manager provides advanced administrative secretarial support to the director, principal and assistant directors, and office chiefs. The individual must be well-versed in Westfield’s Correspondence processes and procedures, including a working knowledge of technical writing practices.
The Successful Candidate Will:
The candidate will review and comment on technical papers to ensure compliance to Westfield’s Handbook guidelines and SED policies
Coordinate and secure conference rooms to support senior level decision forums, engineering reviews, and joint technical forums as assigned
Coordinate travel, vouchers, briefings, and correspondence reviews for grammar and formatting on behalf of the director(s)
Manage decision documents, directives, work plans, governance documentation, and strategic artifacts
The Office Manager will serve as a member of the SED in/out processing team, the web content manager team, and support assigned inter-office coordination meetings (e.g. Senior Management Group)
The manager will provide assistance to the Directors Action Group in addressing responses to office action items
Bachelors’ degree with 1-3 years of relevant experience or associate degree with 3-5 years of admin/action officer experience
Excellent written and oral communication skills
5+ years of Westfield’s administrative experience with minimum Associate Degree
