WSP is currently seeking a Project Manager to join our Infrastructure group, located at our Lethbridge, AB office.


  • Developing and preparing municipal design drawings, plans, diagrams and layouts in the areas of residential, commercial, industrial subdivision, site development and municipal infrastructure;
  • Developing design specifications and drawings;
  • Working in a multi-disciplinary engineering environment;
  • Managing clients, regulatory agencies and approvals;
  • Attending meetings with various engineering disciplines, clients and regulatory agencies;
  • Managing projects, administering contracts and controlling budgets;
  • Providing mentorship and guidelines to team members through all stages of multiple dimensional projects, and during various stages of development;
  • Completing project documentation as required; this includes responses to contractor inquiries, RFI's, Design basis memorandum, minutes and letters, etc.; and
  • Other duties as assigned.


  • Registered P. Eng. with APEGA. A technologist with the appropriate experience will also be considered;
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience with a mix of design and construction experience;
  • Verbal and written communication abilities are essential towards both internal and external clients;
  • Strong knowledge of storm water, servicing, site grading and earthwork design practices;
  • Strong interpersonal skills;
  • Demonstrated ability to manage tasks, projects and control budgets;
  • Demonstrated ability to be a leader to junior staff;
  •  Ability to multi-task in a multidisciplinary environment; and
  • Effective organization, prioritizing and time management skills.
