Structural Group Manager – Denver, CO

We have a career opportunity for a structural bridge engineer with a track record of successful Colorado DOT project experience. This person will play a key role in the expansion of our structural practice in Denver, which includes bridge design and bridge inspection. There is growth potential for this position to develop into the Structural Group Manager for our Colorado Division. This person would be considered for ownership opportunities, providing long-term total compensation enhancements.

The Impact You Will Have:

  • Serve as Project Manager on key project pursuits
  • Manage project teams, accountable for budget and schedule
  • Mentor junior staff
  • Contribute to Colorado Division strategic growth initiatives
  • Champion relationships with key clients, including the Colorado DOT
  • Represent Benesch at industry and professional engagement events
  • Ability to identify opportunities and lead strategic project pursuits
  • Collaborate on regional growth strategy

What You Will Need:

  • BSCE or related discipline
  • Registered Colorado Professional Engineer
  • Minimum of 10 years of bridge design experience including project management responsibility
  • Experience working on Colorado DOT projects
  • Seller/Doer mentality
  • A track record of adhering to design budgets and project schedules
  • Excellent communication and client relation skills
  • Experience with Microstation, basic understanding of Inroads software desired
  • Experience with bridge inspection a plus
