Washington Corporations is seeking a full-time Systems Administrator to join our dynamic and talented team. As a Systems Administrator, your primary responsibility will be to manage Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager. You will be responsible for performing all aspects of SCCM planning, setup, deployment and maintenance.  Responsible for documentation and training for other team members.  This includes: answering questions, providing advice, troubleshooting and assisting team members in solving technology related problems. You will log issues in the tracking system and coordinate problem resolution with other working groups, and ensure that appropriate communication, hand-off and follow-through occur.

A successful candidate will bring their drive and passion for excellent customer service and continuous quality improvements. You will be involved in supporting end users through the following new technology initiatives.

Position is located in Missoula, MT - Some relocation assistance is available.

Responsibilities and Technical Skills Required:

  • Extensive experience in the implementation, administration and configuration of SCCM Enterprise environment.
  • Extensive experience with patching Windows (desktop/server OS) and 3rd party software.
  • Experience with desktop deployment automation architecture, design/migration and troubleshooting.
  • Experience managing an OS image for large corporate environments.
  • Knowledgeable in desktop and server virtualization. 
  • Contribute to development and ongoing improvement of industry best practices and standards for deploying enterprise desktop technologies. 
  • Knowledge of the Windows registry, interaction of drivers within the OS, and unattended/silent installs of Windows operating systems. 
  • Deployment, installation and administration of Microsoft Office products and other software. 
  • Provide technical expertise, guidance and strategic recommendations to other IT groups. 
  • Functional working and debugging knowledge of Microsoft Windows operating systems. 
  •  Investigate, analyze and resolve technical issues and actively pursue mechanisms for preventing, or automating the response to reoccurrences.  ‚Äč
  • Support other IT project leads and team members in the support, testing and training of the user base on business applications.

Position Requirements:

  • Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field, or equivalent experience is preferred.
  • Five years’ experience in customer service is required. Experience in a technical support role is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of system testing best practices and methodologies.
  • Exceptional oral and written communication
  • Working knowledge of ITIL
  • Good phone etiquette and the ability to diffuse agitated situations.
  • Expertise in Microsoft Office, Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Basic hardware troubleshooting skills
  • Excellent customer service attitude
  • Ability to collaborate with a variety of personalities and skillsets, and improve the quality of IT processes, services and products
