Washington Corporations has an immediate need for a full-time Enterprise Applications Systems Administrator with a primary requirement to configure and support Oracle JD Edwards EnterpriseOne software and a secondary requirement to support other enterprise software as needed including accounts payable automation software, electronic time capture software and expense management software.  

The administrator will troubleshoot, maintain, and support Oracle JD Edwards EnterpriseOne software for a related group of companies.  Responsibilities will include occasional after hours support and maintenance, knowledge and understanding of additional enterprise software applications as needed.  This is a full time staff position.  No contractors please.

Candidates need to have exceptional multi­tasking skills, high attention to detail, and ability to work efficiently with quick turnarounds. Ability to manage time, multiple tasks and deadlines is a must.

Primary Requirements:

  • Two years of experience administering application servers
  • Experience with Enterprise Resource Planning software, particularly Oracle JD Edwards Enterprise One is a plus but is not required
  • Experience working on a help desk or supporting end users
  • Must be able to travel to client locations on occasion
  • Maintaining, configuring, support large enterprise software systems, accounts payable automation systems and electronic time capture systems

Job Requirements:

This role will require periodic after-hours work (including evenings, weekends and holidays) to conduct application testing, “go-live” support, maintenance, emergency outage or disaster recovery support.  Additionally, you will share on-call responsibilities for evenings, holidays and weekends with your team as directed by management.

The position requires occasional travel to meet and work with our customers, vendors, and partners in the United States, Canada and possibly abroad. A passport for international travel must be maintained during your employment and candidate must be able to travel to foreign countries.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Ability to work independently, with a team, and effectively to maintain and implement tools supporting automation of business processes.
  • Preferred Bachelor's degree or equivalent in information technology or related fields.
