General Summary:

Washington Corporations is seeking a motivated entry level Aircraft Maintenance Technician to join our talented team. The Aircraft Maintenance Technician assists in daily activities to maximize efficiency and accuracy, carries out assigned maintenance duties in accordance with proper procedures, methods, practices and techniques. 


Major Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Handles flight line activities to include parking, fueling, towing and servicing of aircraft.

  • Services, maintains, checks, and inspects all airframe, engine and related systems.

  • Assists in troubleshooting of aircraft malfunctions.

  • Perform aircraft exterior wash and wipe downs.

  • Helps maintain a clean and safe work environment.

  • Properly documents all maintenance actions performed and insures work has been inspected by appropriate personnel.

  • When required, makes both written and verbal turnovers.

  • Follows established safety and housekeeping practices.

  • Performs all other related duties as assigned.


Skills and Abilities:

  • Understanding of aircraft maintenance concepts and best practices.

  • Has an understanding of applicable Maintenance and Operational requirements of FAR Parts 1, 21, 43, 65 and 91.

  • Ability to read, understand and follow Aircraft Manufacturers Maintenance Manuals, parts catalogues and service bulletins.

  • Knowledge of or basic understanding of SMS (Safety Management System).

  • Knowledge of or basic understanding of CAMP.

  • Oral and written communication skills.

  • Attentiveness to detail and precision.

  • Analytical ability when problems are complex.

  • Ability to work effectively with others.

  • Ability to pass a comprehensive background check.

  • Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet the need of the Flight Department including before and after normal business hours, weekends and holidays.



  • High School graduate or equivalent.

  • Valid FAA Airframe & Powerplant certificate with work history.

  • 1-3 years actively maintaining aircraft, civilian or military.

  • Ability to write and read English fluently.

  • You must be authorized to work in the United States.

  • Currently reside in or ability to relocate to the Missoula, MT area.
