This position coordinates all A& E activities for the Small Cells project. The A&E Engineer ensures all information needed to create structural analyses and CDs are received and transmitted to the A&E vendors. The A&E Engineer reviews and approves structural analyses and CDs submitted by the A&E vendors to ensure the client's scope of work has been met and the designs comply with all client requirements. The A&E Engineer will develop and maintain design templates for different jurisdictions, pole owners and utilities. The A&E Engineer ensures A&E work is completed in alignment with the project build schedule.


- Adopts all A&E standards for Small Cells

- Performs quality review of all work product delivered by the A&E vendors to verify compliance with scope of work and all Client requirements

- Provides A&E Vendors Scoping Notes, RFDS, and reviews AT&T (FileNet/Trac) databases for additional information required to meet Client's expectations in the marketplace

- Assists with the management of A&E vendors for A&E and structural deliverables

- Monitors and tracks all A&E deliverables and ensures timely receipt of CDs, surveys and additional ancillary services to complete a given project initiative

- Reviews structural reports, A&E deliverables, and RFDS's to ensure accuracy, and quality compliance with standards, coordinates any revisions needed, and provides approval

-Works within the Vinculums MFiles system to coordinate and monitor the delivery of the documents

- Closes out vendor deliverables to recognize both expenses and revenue and ensures approval of vendors invoices

- Provides forecasted dates for receipt of deliverables, provides ETA and updates to Site Acquisition Team for PACE/PTMS as needed

- Provides equipment configuration engineering support for non-standard or problematic sites

- Ensures all construction personnel are provided with latest approved A&E templates, drawings, site plans, or other needed engineering documents

- Develops and maintains design templates for different jurisdictions, pole owners and utilities

- Maintains library of design elements (equipment, stealthing material, pole types etc.)

- Supports CRAN SAQ and CX Teams

-Coordinates and leads standing weekly status calls with A&E firms, SA Team and CX

-Monitors CX and SA Teams for their timely review of structural and CDs

- Bachelor’s degree, preferably in A&E or Engineering or related discipline 

- Strong computer skills including MS Excel

- Experience working with structural analysis tools

- Experience working with CAD tools

- Experience in A&E, preferably in telecommunications

- Strong attention to detail

- Excellent communication skills

- Above average organizational skills


- Experience working with jurisdictions

- P.E. certification


Work schedule is Monday through Friday. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.


Travel to client meetings and Vinculums Offices as needed, ranging from 10-25%. May also visit project sites.
