Vibra Healthcare, a national operator of long term acute care hospitals (LTACH) and acute rehabilitation hospitals, is seeking a Full Time Regional Information Technology Specialist to join our team!
This position is responsible for ensuring the hospitals’ Information Technology (IT) equipment and infrastructure are properly functional at the regional hospitals. This position is responsible for break/fix activities as well as new equipment installation. Traveling to each regional location on a rotating basis is expected.
Responsible for configuration, set-up and inventorying of hardware and IT equipment for multiple hospitals.
Responsible for problem resolution of computer applications, hardware, network and other technical issues.
Responsible for maintaining hardware at assigned Vibra Hospitals.
Responsible for recommendations on upgrading the servers and other equipment at the corporate facilities.
Responsible for first line support while at the Hospitals using EMR.
Responsible for evaluation and recommendations of hardware to be used in a hospital setting.
Responsible for working with the hospital leadership in identifying technology needs, in alignment with the corporate IT strategy.
Responsible for supporting windows servers including Active Directory, File servers and Citrix at the corporate location
Backup support for iSeries and V7000 disk subsystem.
Significant travel required.
Minimum three (3) years hardware evaluation, acquisition, installation and maintenance experience required.
Minimum three (3) years of experience with technical problem resolution and support required.
Minimum two (2) years of experience in application system configuration and set-up required.
A technology-oriented Bachelor’s Degree is desirable.
Ability to work with leaders and employees within a hospital setting required.
Person must be willing to travel at least 75% of the time out of state.
