J OB S UMMARY

In accordance with physician orders and plan of care, administers skilled nursing care to patients on an intermittent basis in their place of residence. Integrates the hospital’s mission and "Guiding Principles" into daily practice.

E SSENTIAL F UNCTIONS

M INIMUM J OB R EQUIREMENTS

Minimum Education and Experience

Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (Bachelor degree or higher preferred) with ability to apply and maintain RN license in state of Arizona.

Current CPR certification required; ACLS certification preferred.

Fingerprint certification through state of Arizona required.

Three (3) years working experience; two (2) year Home Health experience strongly preferred.

Demonstrates an understanding of treatment costs and financial support as they relate to quality and efficiency.

Demonstrates critical thinking skills: Using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems.

Utilizes the appropriate leadership skills in delegating, organizing, and educating coworkers and staff.

Knowledge of clinical operations and procedures.

Ability to maintain quality, safety, and/or infection control standards.

Demonstrates general computer skills including: data entry, word processing, email, and record management.

Effective organizational and time management skills.

Effective written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to maintain proper levels of confidentiality.

Ability to work closely and professionally with others.
