About the role

Our Organisational Capability function are recruiting an exceptional HR person to the team based in Sydney. This is a diverse operational HR role, which will see you utilising your experience as a generalist in the HR field to influence decisions, drive positive change and support growth and development.

Day to day this role will see you working across the entire HR lifecycle, from resourcing, onboarding, employee development, workforce planning, remuneration, retention and separation for our workforce based in New South Wales. You’ll also work as part of a broader, nationally distributed HR team by participating in professional development, planning and continual service improvement activities with peers.

Your ability to connect and communicate with employees and play an active role in their personal journey is essential. You’ll be a natural relationship builder, demonstrate empathy and be passionate about seeing our employees thrive.

As a HR practitioner you will demonstrate the following capabilities:

  • A customer centric HR service delivery focus
  • Experience with recruitment, selection and onboarding practices
  • Ability to engage, build relationships with leaders and employees
  • Demonstrate a knack for problem solving and influencing decisions
  • Sound understanding of current Australian industrial legislation including Awards interpretation
  • Degree or Diploma in Human Resources
  • 3-5 years’ experience in a similar role
