About us

Kinetic IT has come a long way since opening its doors 20 years ago, growing to become one of Australia’s largest ICT managed service providers with over 1000 staff. With offices in all major capitals, we support customers with complex ICT infrastructures, critical data and multi layered environments – and we don’t limit ourselves to a single industry or sector.

It’s safe to say we’re not your typical IT outsourcer – we’re privately owned and make looking after our people and culture a priority. Every day our people come to Kinetic IT not just to work, but to be challenged, grow and be part of something bigger.

About you

As an Instructional Designer/Training Specialist, you will be the kind of person who shines when identifying gaps in knowledge and building quality content to bridge the divide. Your skill and expertise in building relationships will make it second nature for you to collaborate with the customer and other SME’s to document and deliver customised content that meets all the requirements. You will be passionate about implementing new learning strategies and sharing knowledge to all levels of the business.

Day to day your duties will include:

  • Work with stakeholders from a number of areas within the organisation to develop training plans, create training packages and materials, deliver training and provide support
  • Development of training programmes to ensure training is delivered as per organisational requirements
  • Identify training & development opportunities
  • Researching and creating detailed training plans outlining learning strategies and programs in line with industry best practice
  • Provide training for new starters

Sound like a role for you? You’ll need some of the following:

  • Experience in a similar role along with relevant tertiary qualifications
  • Experience and qualifications in IT Service Management (ITIL) and, preferably, an understanding of SIAM.
  • Experience working in an enterprise class environment or service provider
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to build strong relationships
  • The ability to work to tight deadlines and in a collaborative team environment

In addition to the above requirements, you will also need to be an Australian Citizen.

What’s in it for you?

No two days will be the same, you’ll be challenged to think outside the box and work on contemporary, enterprise IT solutions. You’ll enjoy working for one of Australia’s largest Managed Service Providers and will be on the front line of growth activities as our organisational footprint expands in new regions.
