About us

Kinetic IT has come a long way since opening its doors 20 years ago, growing to become one of Australia's largest ICT managed service providers with over 1000 staff. With offices in all major capitals, we support customers with complex ICT infrastructures, critical data and multi layered environments - and we don't limit ourselves to a single industry or sector.
It's safe to say we're not your typical IT outsourcer - we're privately owned and make looking after our people and culture a priority. Every day our people come to Kinetic IT not just to work, but to be challenged, grow and be part of something bigger.

About you

We're looking for someone who has had the experience to:

  • Establish effective practices, processes and tools to implement a contract, commercial and compliance framework.
  • Implement and oversee all commercial and compliance activities, including:
    1. Contract management
    2. Subcontractor management
    3. Risk management
    4. Compliance management
    5. Invoicing
    6. Variations, including new services and changes to existing services.
  • Ensuring compliance with all contractual obligations (both to customer, and subcontractors to us).
  • Identify potential gaps in compliance and implement plans to address accordingly.
  • Provide liaison for periodic internal and external audits to ensure compliance with company and customer policies and procedures.

Sound like a role for you? You'll need some of the following:

  • Exceptional proven leadership skills and demonstrated ability to lead a diverse team of individuals.
  • The ability to identify and focus on high-value priorities.
  • Experience working within a managed service provider model.
  • Extensive knowledge of contract, commercial and compliance related practices, processes and procedures.
  • Analytical thinking approach with the ability to think objectively and demonstrate sound judgement.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Demonstrable planning and organisational skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to disseminate complex information and explain salient points to all stakeholders.
  • The ability to use your own initiative, and to work effectively both on your own and as part of a wider team.
  • Great interpersonal skills to be able to work effectively with all members of the organisation.
  • Strong time-management skills.
  • Self-motivated with drive, and a 'can-do' attitude.
  • Strong ethical standards and high levels of integrity.
  • Demonstrated ability in establishing and executing within a commercial and compliance framework.

Desirable Skills and Experience

  1. Bachelor’s degree in commercial, finance, business or a related field.
  2. Commercial acumen in negotiating medium to large scale contracts and projects and in dealing with stakeholders and key suppliers at senior levels.
  3. Five years industry experience working in commercial and compliance management.

What's in it for you?

If you've ever had the desire to work in a challenging environment, this is for you. No two days will be the same, you'll be challenged to think outside the box and build new skills and capabilities. You'll enjoy working for one of Australia's largest Managed Service Providers and will be on the front line of growth activities as our organisational footprint expands in new regions. You'll also continually learn and develop professionally as you are exposed to new changes and work amongst experienced ICT professionals.
