As Kinetic IT looks to the future, we are looking for a Customer Development Manager to join our National Customer Development team. This is a brand-new position and a unique opportunity to join a mature organisation, helping us grow our market presence by building relationships with potential new customers as well as expanding our footprint in our existing customer base.

About the role

This newly created role will lead and manage the identification and development of potential new customers and opportunities, as well as supporting the communication and coordination of opportunities in our existing customer base.

You will be working end-to-end, managing the business development process from contact and campaign through to negotiation and contract, maintaining customer relationships throughout the sales lifecycle.

Your ability to connect and communicate with senior stakeholders will be used to build understanding of their organisations, to mobilise our subject matter experts on exploring solutions, and to help establish a shared future between them and Kinetic IT.   

As a Customer Development Manager, you will demonstrate the following capabilities:

  • Previous experience in a similar role, managing the end-to-end business development process and selling enterprise level solutions
  • Familiarity with sales and procurement processes of large, enterprise- class organisations
  • Ability to be able to explain market and industry trends
  • A broad knowledge base across the IT market and industry trends as well as IT service offerings
  • Experience working for a Managed Service provider or IT vendor
