SPECIFIC JOB DESCRIPTION:

ANSER is seeking undergraduate and graduate students to provide support enhancing and applying analytic skills in ways that make a difference to vital National-level, science and technology missions. To qualify, candidates must have a demonstrated history of exceptional performance in school and prior internships/jobs. Evidence of a rich portfolio of academic and personal achievements that reflect a strong tendency towards analytic thinking is a plus.

Successful candidates will thrive in fast-paced environments, adapt quickly to various leadership styles, and creatively employ methods and techniques learned in school. They will approach difficult tasks and problem sets with positive attitudes and a solution-oriented mind set and will always extend professional courtesies to their clients and colleagues.

INTERNS WILL LEARN AND BE EXPOSED TO:

  • Real world working knowledge

  • Hands on strategizing and planning

  • Participation in regular staff meetings

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Shadow multiple office positions and train in a variety of tasks

  • Assist in brainstorming and idea planning

  • Participate and take notes in client meetings

  • Perform analytical reviews, quantitative and qualitative analysis, and conduct research on a variety of clients across multiple industries

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Pursuing or have completed a Bachelor’s, Master’s or Ph.D. Degree in the S.T.E.M. field

  • Strong analytical and quantitative abilities with excellent written and verbal communications

  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint, with a general understanding of data analysis techniques

  • Ability to participate within a multi-disciplinary team as well as acting autonomously as appropriate

  • Must be motivated, organized, and possess good communication skills
