Description

The prospective candidate is responsible for preparing senior level correspondence in the forms of written papers, articles, and presentations.  Candidate must have an understanding with transposing military written correspondence into context that is easily understandable by the public. The candidate will prepare responses to reporter’s Requests for Information (RFI).  The candidate will prepare quarterly articles for the Apache Project Manager, the Program Executive Office (PEO) level Newsletter.  They will prepare/proof information papers to senior Army leadership.  You will assist the Strategic Communications/Public Affairs specialist with internal and external communications. You will also support the development and distribution of standard communications products on a regular basis and perform other duties as assigned. This is a Program Management Office for an Apache position working with various offices within the Apache Program Office.

Must possess an active Secret security clearance.
Must have a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited school, and three (3) years relevant technical experience.
In lieu of a Bachelor’s degree, must have an additional four (4) years of relevant exp. for a total of seven (7) years.
Must have expert use in Microsoft Office Suite.
Must have excellent writing skills; attention to grammar, spelling, format and composition.
Must be extremely well-organized and able to multi-task in a fast paced environment.
