Description

  ***Overseas Position ***--  Responsible for performing duties as a Tactical Operations (TACOPS)/Aviation Mission Survivability Officer (AMSO) Instructor supporting AH-64E and UH-60M Aircraft.   The TACOPS Instructor trains rated crewmembers on appropriate aircraft survivability equipment (ASE) techniques and procedures for each mission and performs aviation mission planning functions for all aviation missions. Other responsibilities include, but are not limited to—

l        Conducting the ASE/early warning portion of the risk management process.

l        Integrating the unit's operational plan into the airspace structure.

l         Assisting in the military decisionmaking process (MDMP), CAS, and fire support (FS) planning.

l        Operating the battalion AMPS.

 

Tactical Operations/AMSO Officer qualified required.
3 years experience as a Company/Battalion level TACOPS/AMSO Officer required.
Must have been qualified as an Army Rotary Wing Pilot.
