The AH-64D/E Instructor Pilot (IP) serves as a Standardization Pilot (SP) in support of the 302 Squadron of the Royal Netherlands military as part of the Security Forces Assistance (SFA) Foreign Military Training program at Fort Hood, TX.  The AH-64D/E IP works with the SQN Chief Pilot and S3 Air to develop the AH Flight projects, timeline, and workload required to meet the overall objectives within the resources available.  The AH-64D/E IP helps coordinate all required training tasks, resolves any issues, and works with others, as necessary to achieve the established objectives.  The AH-64D/E IP keeps the SQN Chief Pilot and S3 Air informed on progress and potential issues.


2000 total hrs.; Must have 1500 IP hours and 500 hrs. of NG/NS time.
12 years’ experience in military planning, operations, and training.
Graduate of an advanced warrant officer military training course, AH-64D/E advanced flight training, AH-64D/E IP course.
Instrument Examiners (IE) course desired.
Battalion level or higher staff experience desired.
OIF/OEF experience desired.
Experience in Air Assault Operations desired.
Must have Security Clearance or ability to obtain clearance.

Must have comprehensive knowledge, expertise, and experience in order to perform tasks related to:
Mission Order Production.
Plan and execute resource management objectives, through the use of resource management planning tools and web-based programs.
Ability to work extensively with Microsoft Office programs.
Knowledge of and/or the ability to learn and use Portable Flight Planning Software.
