Serves as a principal action officer and coordinator for the Program Executive Office (PEO), Aviation G-3 Operations office. Maintains in-depth working knowledge of the acquisition process, milestone decisions, and required documentation for each phase of the acquisition life cycle for PEO Aviation managed programs. Works within DoD 5000 series acquisition documents to insure support to the PEO and the Program Management Offices for the aviation portfolio of programs. The fast paced G3 mission supports the PEO Aviation leadership, PMs, and the staff elements on all aspects of acquisition. Provide support for reviews, programming, coordination of documents, execution of actions, and organizational efforts. Supports all PEO Aviation procurement activities for ACAT I, II, and III systems within the PEO Aviation portfolio including but are not limited to Apache Attack Helicopter, Utility Helicopters, and Cargo Helicopters. Work short suspense taskings from ASA(ALT), DA, and OSD. Communicate effectively when coordinating actions. Assist PEO staff in developing and implementing effective and efficient standardized acquisition procedures and supporting products to streamline acquisition and contracting activities. Conduct research, analysis, and trade studies as required providing informed recommendations to the PEO staff.

Active SECRET Security Clearance required.
Bachelor's Degree must be in management, business or technical disciplines from an accredited school.
Must have at least ten (10) years experience in one of the following specialty areas - program acquisition / planning, data / configuration management / logistics, , information systems technologies / weapon system fielding.
In lieu of stated degree, must have at least seventeen (17) years experience related to the SOW specialty area.
