Salesforce Administrator

Porch is seeking a talented Salesforce Administrator to support our growing business teams.  In this new role, you will have the opportunity to work on Salesforce development, maintenance, configuration, reporting and training.  You will also support our teams in maintaining, supporting and improving the Salesforce platform and related systems.  In addition, this role will create and produce various ad hoc and recurring reports.

What You Will Do

  • Serve as a Salesforce point of contact for troubleshooting requests from other teams, gathering and reporting on application metrics, building dashboards and using data to correlate and confirm issues
  • Perform configuration and customization of the platform
  • Develop reports, dashboards, and processes to continuously monitor data quality and integrity
  • Execute data migration/cleansing projects
  • Support deployment, maintenance, troubleshooting and resolution for Salesforce
  • Maintain user roles, profiles, security and access settings as needed
  • Develop, maintain, create, and improve validation rules, custom workflows, custom objects, fields, and formulas
  • Recommend best practices to business users and stakeholders.

What You Bring


  • 5+ years administration and configuration experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
  • Certified Administrator or equivalent experience
  • Certified Advanced Administrator or equivalent experience a plus
  • Advanced Usage of Salesforce Data Management Tools
  • Comfortable with configuration, customization, data management (data management tools), campaign management, training and support for AppExchange applications, support for custom integrations
  • Experience with Lightning preferred
  • Experience using bug/project management tools (preferably JIRA)
  • Advanced Excel skills (Macro, Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP)
  • Advanced SQL skills
  • Comfortable leading training sessions about the Salesforce platform and backend
  • Experience in developing processes and creating end-user documentation
  • Solid sense of customer focus and the importance of the voice of the customer
  • Excellent communication skills and collaborates well with cross-functional teams
