Description

The Senior Manager, Global Retail Play! Programs is responsible for organizing play programs and activities targeting Pokémon community playing in Retail stores. This role will develop and execute programs which complement and broaden existing Play programs for The Pokémon Company International (TPCi), creating a stronger, more engaged community of players. Managing a global program with staff in both Bellevue, WA and London, UK, the Sr. Manager will create and manage budgets and operating plans to measure acquisition and retention of both retails and players.

What You Will Do

  • Grow and develop TPCi’s network of retailers running our Play! Programs and through that the community of players across all markets outside of Asia
  • Oversee the growth and development of Play! Programs such as Pokémon Club, Pokémon League, Pokémon Pre-releases, Pokémon League Challenges, Pokémon League Cups
  • Successfully create and manage a budget to allow for long term development
  • Develop and implement an evaluation method to assess the strength of each program and identify areas for improvement
  • Ensure goals are met in key performance areas including adoption rate, retention, customer satisfaction, safety, quality and other performance metrics
  • Implement and manage changes and interventions to ensure project goals are achieved
  • On a regular cadence, meet with stakeholders to keep communication lines open regarding project issues and decisions on programs
  • Producing accurate and timely reporting of program status
  • Analyze program risks and develop strategies to mitigate those risks

What You Will Bring

  • 7+ years managing a global retail program for a multinational company
  • Experience with Organized Play programs, or other community-based programs
  • Proven experience managing multiple teams
  • Proven experience working with small independent retailers
  • Experience working in environment of uncertainty
  • Comfortable with MS office suite
  • Existing knowledge of the Pokémon brand, and Play! program a plus
  • Existing knowledge of Microsoft Project, Workfront, JIRA, and SharePoint a plus

What to Expect

We offer a professional, fun and creative work environment. While we maintain a good balance between work and life, additional hours may be required at peak times or for specific initiatives. Up to 15% domestic and international travel between TPCi offices, retail locations, and various trade shows/events may be required.
