The UX/UI Artist with The Pokémon Company International, you will work closely with the Lead Artist, Lead Gameplay Coder, Creative Director, Game Director, and the rest of the team with the primary responsibility of designing and implementing unique, user-friendly UI for our teams’ products. The ideal candidate will have experience working in agile teams, with developers, UX designers, and artists. Secondarily, your ability to create or improve wireframes, prototypes, style guides, user flows, and effectively communicate your ideas will be critical within the role.

What You Will Do

  • Working with design, client engineers, and artists to create and implement UI for mobile devices.

  • Can take the UI for a project from rough sketches and wireframes through to a polished, final release candidate.

  • Enjoys problem-solving and developing creative solutions as they arise.

  • Self-motivated, collaborative, and able to communicate with all disciplines to present and defend design decisions.

  • Exceptional with using Confluence to document and maintain the most up-to-date information.

What You Will Bring

  • Highly experienced and proficient with Unity, Photoshop, and Perforce.

  • Strong understanding of layout, color, visual language, and directing the eye.

  • Incredible attention to detail.

  • Solid understanding of First Time User Experiences and how to develop UI to engage users.

  • 3+ years experience working in a UI Artist or UX Designer role.

  • Experience with mobile gaming pipelines.
