Description

The  System Administrator is responsible for providing a superior customer experience through tactical troubleshooting, monitoring and proactive incident resolution for the Company’s systems infrastructure. This role is heavily relied upon by the entire TPCi team to support, maintain and provide insights for our clients. Being resourceful to identify issues and articulate in communicating resolution steps to bring the customer’s incident to a resolved state is key. 

What You Will Do

  • Provide users with appropriate Level I/II support and direction for all IT systems.

  • Point of contact for the day to day administration of Microsoft Back office solutions including Active Directory, Exchange, SharePoint, etc.

  • Maintain servers, create system reports, and validate system functionality.

  • Monitor systems for acceptable performance and user accessibility, establish back-ups, and monitor systems security.

  • Document technical problems, resolutions, and standard operating procedures for all systems related processes.

  • Identify recurring incidents and trends within a customer’s environment and troubleshoot with the appropriate technical resources, ensuring resolution of more complex issues.

  • Install, modify, and repair hardware and software.

  • Interface with outsourced technology companies.

  • Manage user accounts, optimize remote access, secure access for messaging systems, databases, and web applications

  • Research and implement; keeping up to date with latest technologies to further improve policies, processes and systems.  

  • Observe user needs and system functionality and make recommendations to management. Increase system administration efficiency and accuracy via the use of automated tools and scripts.

  • Collaboratively assist with special projects, new application and system deployments.

  • Support end users on issues in the ticketing system daily, both as a point of escalation and initial triage.

What You Will Bring

  • Certificate or Associates degree; BA or BS degree preferred in relevant technical field.

  • Five or more years’ experience and expertise.

  • Experience with ticketing systems, advanced networks, Office 365, Windows desktop and server applications, features and tools.

  • SCCM experience preferred.

  • Demonstrated knowledge and comfort with LAN networking theory and concepts
