Associate Producer - Email Marketing

Position Summary

The Associate Producer, Email Marketing, assists with the planning, reporting, and end-to-end coordination of The Pokémon Company International’s email marketing program. This role will collaborate with key stakeholders across Marketing, eCommerce, and other departments to support organizational goals, drive brand awareness, and generate inbound traffic to Pokémon sites.

What You Will Do

 

  • Contribute to the planning process to deliver impactful campaigns across all key brand pillars

  • Help in the development and implementation of new initiatives to drive revenue, increase customer engagement and retention, and support other company goals

  • Assist with the end-to-end email campaign process including conceptualization, composition of copy, creative development, set-up, QA, testing, deployment, and reporting

  • Partner with internal teams and external vendors to ensure all campaign and project requirements are met

  • Proactively track, monitor, analyze, and optimize campaign performance using Salesforce Marketing Cloud and Google Analytics

  • Ensure that all stakeholders are kept fully informed of project status, issues, and progress

  • Assist the Email Marketing Manager on special projects and ad hoc requests

What You Will Bring

  • Strong understanding of email marketing best practices and technology, A/B testing methodologies, and web analytics tools

  • Experience and proficiency in creating compelling and effective copy optimized for email marketing

  • 2-4 years online marketing-specific experience with a minimum 1 year demonstrated success in email marketing

  • Experience with an email service provider and external campaign team (Salesforce/Exacttarget preferably)

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

  • Proficient in Excel and MS Office programs.

  • Clear understanding and working knowledge of HTML preferable

  • Localization and international experience is a plus

  • Experience working within strict brand and/or legal guidelines is a plus

  • Ecommerce experience is a plus

  • Passion for Pokémon is a strong plus
