Pokémon was launched in Japan in 1996 and today is one of the most popular children's entertainment properties in the world.

The Senior Product Manager will use hypothesis and data analysis to make product and feature recommendations across a variety of digital products including mobile apps and games. We are looking for a data minded individual who loves defining, measuring, and improving key performance indicators. For our completely free products the focus will be on user acquisition, engagement, and retention. For our free-to-play (F2P) games there will be an additional emphasis on monetization design.

This individual will present their recommendations directly to the Director of Gaming. Once approved, the Senior Product Manager will work with Producers to get the work scheduled and complete. Additionally, the Senior Product Manager will act as a liaison between the Game Studio and other departments such as Legal and Marketing.

What You Will Do

  • Drive the monetization design across our F2P games.

  • Create hypothesis, run A/B tests, do data analysis, and then make recommendations.

  • Work with the Legal team at TPCi to understand and implement data analysis in a way that is compliant with COPPA and GDPR.

  • Work with Marketing to define user acquisition strategies and how to measure them.

  • Run data analysis on live products and beta products and make recommendations.

What You Will Bring

  • B.S. or B.A. in any relevant field

  • 3 years or more experience in product management or analytics at a games company

  • Expert user of SQL for data analysis

  • Expert user of Excel for data analysis

  • Experience with Looker and Tableau a plus

How You Will Be Successful

  • Communication: Impeccable written and verbal communication. Ability to create clear Powerpoints and charts to illustrate your recommendations. Able to speak concisely to multiple stake holders.

  • Love the meta in Games : You love playing F2P games to analyze the meta loop. Constantly thinking about how new best practices in F2P can be adapted for use at TPCi.

  • Great people skills : You know the “how” is as important as the “what” and you aim to build effective relationships across the organizations, as well as externally with 3rd parties. You are mindful of diverse perspectives and engage clients in a professional manner.

  • Data Driven: Your recommendations are data driven and not driven by intuition or gut.

What to Expect

We offer a professional, fun and creative work environment. While we maintain a good balance between work and life, additional hours may be required at peak times or for specific initiatives.  Travel between office locations internationally may be required on occasion.
