To further strengthen our team at our Ottawa location we are looking for a Senior Verification Engineer who will work with the Ottawa timing team on the development of state of the art DPLL (digital phase-locked loop) integrated circuits. Our team being small, the verification engineer will get to play a key role by contributing not only to the verification of our designs, but to all other aspects of the development of an integrated circuit (initial product requirements, design specification and implementation, FPGA validation, prototype testing on the bench, etc.).

Basic Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will have the following attributes:

·            Experience with Verilog and/or System Verilog for digital verification

·            Experience with UVM

·            Experience with Synopsys and/or Cadence simulation tools

·            Fast learner with ability to work under minimal supervision

·            Strong organization and communication skills

 Preferred Skills & Knowledge:

·            Knowledge of timing and synchronization standards is a strong asset

·            Knowledge of scripting languages such as Perl, Python and Tcl is an asset

·            Experience with embedded programming is an asset

·            Experience with gate-level simulations is an asset

·            Experience with mixed signal circuits is an asset

·            Experience in test plan writing is an asset

Education and/or Experience:

Electrical or Computer Engineering degree and 4 years of practical experience. An advanced degree may substitute for some years of related experience.
