Responsible for the integrity of the Financial Forecast. Responsible for the estimation and documentation of the cash flow forecast and explanation of variances from forecast. Researches special projects that arise in the area. Provides backup to the Rates Analyst.
Education: BA, BS, BBA or MBA in Accounting, Finance, Business or related field and/or CPA
Experience: Four years of experience with accounting, forecasting, budgeting, project management and cash forecasting.
Equivalent Experience: BA, BS or BBA with a non-accounting concentration, supplemented with at least thirty quarter hours or twenty semester hours in college level accounting or finance courses. Six years of experience with accounting, forecasting, budgeting, project management and cash forecasting.
Specialized Skills (e.g., typing, computers, software, tools and equipment uses, etc.): Position requires an advanced knowledge of Excel spreadsheet software along with basic understanding and competency in the use of PowerPoint, database management software (MS Access) and automated query reporting tools. Knowledge and understanding of RUS and FERC Uniform System of Accounting is required including retirement unit accounting. Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
