Provides technical assistance to both the Relay & Control Design and the System Protection departments. This includes but not limited to monitoring, tracking and sending out weekly reminders for Protection & Control deliverables. (PDSL's, as-builts, electrical designs, Point Assignment Sheets, Relay Sheets and Operating Instructions) Coordinates all as-builts between the field and the office. Updates and maintains Engineering Bulletins and PPG's. Populates engineer status reports for all capital projects. Schedules pre-ETE Test meetings. Also provides administrative and secretarial support to two functional department managers and a staff of 20-25 professionals with minimal guidance. Provide administrative support to the corporate teams including but not limited to Electrical Standards Advisory Committee, Disaster Response Team and As-built Working Group. Performs other responsibilities as deemed necessary.
Education: Associate Degree in Business or Technical discipline
Experience: Four years of secretarial experience with administrative duties and at least one year of status tracking and monitoring is critical.
Licenses, Certifications and/or Registrations: Certified Administrative Professional (CAP) and Notary Public preferred.
Specialized Skills (e.g., typing, computers, software, tools and equipment uses, etc.): Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint and Outlook, accurate typing skills of 60 words per minute preferred, knowledgeable of office equipment, efficient oral, business writing, and proofreading skills, capable of working in a technical environment and grasping technical terms, processes and procedures, capacity to manage sensitive information, ability to demonstrate a professional customer service demeanor at all times.
