Position:          Data Analyst

Location:         Hanscom AFB, MA

Clearance:       TS/SCI

Education:       Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience


The Air Force Nuclear Weapons Center (AFNWC) Nuclear Command, Control, Communications Integration Directorate (AFNWC/NC3) ensures ongoing NC3 programs, legacy systems and new capabilities are fully integrated as part of the Air Force’s overall effort to sustain, modernize, and recapitalize the nuclear enterprise. The Directorate serves as an integrator ensuring that current and future NC3 capabilities across the spectrum are being evaluated and considered in concert.

Responsibilities of the Data Analyst include, but are not limited to:

  • Formulating and applying mathematical modeling and other optimizing methods to collect, analyze, and interpret data.
  • Analyzing select data to identify potential WS limitations, and/or performance gaps.
  • Assisting assessment team conducting weapon system mission effective and consequence identified limitation(s).
  • Supporting effectiveness analysis of new technologies considered for inclusion into the weapon system baseline.
  • Providing and making recommendations on multiple statistical analysis tools relevant to the analysis of communication system architectures and network models as well as provide advance Microsoft Excel support.
  • Providing statistical support services to raw test data and communications networks systems principles.



The candidate must have the following qualifications:

  • BA/BS or MA/MS degree with 3-10 years of experience in data analysis and data quality 


The following qualifications are desired:

  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office Suite  
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills 


Travel : Some travel may be required
