Position:         CCI IMD Project Officer

Location:        Fairfax, VA

Clearance:      TS/SCI

Education:     BA/BS degree highly desired.


The United States Air Force (USAF) Concepts, Development, and Management (CDM) Program Office conducts the planning and acquisition of cost-effective, critical capabilities to support the war-fighting mission of the combatant commanders.

The Project Officer will support the Combatant Command Intelligence (CCI) Intelligence Mission Data (IMD) effort by providing oversight, project management, and electronic warfare expertise, as well as Modeling and Simulation (M&S) expertise.

The Project Officer will apply knowledge and experience in technology development, cyber operations, DoD and IC operations, and project management to support the execution of highly technical cyber capability development and integration efforts. Tasks may include:

  • Provide expertise concerning electronic warfare (EW), acquisition intelligence, and modeling & simulation to support IMD sufficiency analysis.
  • Contribute to white papers, PowerPoint briefings, and meetings concerning EW, M&S, and acquisition intelligence.
  • Interface and coordinate with appropriate Service Centers, the Joint Simulation Environment (JSE), the Air Force Institute of Technology (AFIT), the Simulation and Analysis Facility (SIMAF), and other organizations as necessary to facilitate coordination and monitoring of Designs of Experiments (DOEs).
  • Coordinate annual site visits to the JSE and SIMAF.
  • Coordinate annual working groups, to include agenda items, briefings, required technology, clearance issues, and other duties as required.
  • Support the CCI-IMD Program Manager in delivering DOEs to USD(I).



The candidate must have the following qualifications:

  • Minimum of three (3) years’ experience that includes support to the DoD or Intelligence Community (IC) and familiarity with DoD Combatant Commands and Standard staff functions.
  • Must have experience with
    • Electronic warfare systems and applications.
    • Modeling and simulation environments.
    • Managing large projects.
    • Reporting and Business Intelligence (BI).
    • Microsoft Office applications.


The following qualifications are desired:

  • Knowledge and experience within the acquisition intelligence communities.
  • Understanding of the intelligence cycle and familiarity with various intelligence systems and programs.


Travel:      Vicinity travel within the NCR and occasional long-distance travel outside the NCR.
