Position:      Administrative Professional

Location:     U.S. Department of Homeland Security, Immigration and Customs Enforcement Headquarters, LEISI Program Management Office, 500 12th Street, S.W. Room 6061, Washington D.C. 20024

Clearance:   DHS Public Trust

Education:  BA/BS

Responsibilities:

  • Works on high visibility or mission-critical aspects of a given program and performs all functional duties independently or collaboratively, as required.
  • Conducts research, prepares statistical reports, handles information requests, and performs clerical functions such as preparing correspondence, receiving visitors, arranging conference calls, and scheduling meetings.
  • Supports the development and use of enterprise tools.
  • Identifies, creates, or modifies business processes and procedures that enhance the performance of the agency.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree and 3 to 10 years' experience.
  • Experience in high-level administrative support functions performing research, preparing statistical reports, handling information requests.
  • Knowledge applying, developing, and using enterprise tools.
  • Ability to identify, create, or modify business processes and procedures that enhance the performance of the agency.

The following qualifications are desired:

  • DHS ICE work experience and current DHS/ICE clearance highly desirable.
  • Portal administration (systems administration and planning) and SharePoint
  • Experienced user of Tableau business intelligence software
  • Investigations knowledge (as it relates to information sharing and IT systems)
  • Current US passport.

Travel:    Travel to attend conferences, training classes, and meetings, including Outside Continental US (OCONUS) two to three times annually. Additionally, the candidate may be required to travel locally between Government/ICE offices to perform the work.
