Requirements Manager

Description

Blackstone Technology Group is looking for a Requirements Manger to join our Federal Practice in the DC area.

As a member of a high-performing team, this role requires you to assist other staff with the analysis and tracing of requirements and test-and-evaluation plan elements and other documentation and controlling change in the requirements repository.  You will manage various relationships, including customers, engineers, developers and management, to develop requirements, define test scenarios, create process flows, develop plans and strategy (e.g. governance).

Responsibilities:

  • Support a Federal IT Project Manager in managing the implementation of a requirements management system
  • Develop documentation in support of the requirements management process
  • Establish and maintain a requirements management tool, to include a schema for modules and attributes, the relationship and hierarchy of the modules and conventions for linking the modules of the tool
  • Assist staff in incorporating requirements into the tool
  • Manage the requirements change process
  • Analyze and verify that requirements in the tool meet the established standards
  • Verify requirements can be fully testable

 

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Experience with implementing a requirements management system
  • Experience with requirements management tool DOORS. 
  • Have a basic understanding of the SELC (Systems Development Life Cycle/ Systems Engineering Life Cycle.
  • Bachelor’s Degree 
  • Must successfully complete a stringent Background Investigation and obtain the required Government Security
  • 5+ years of related experience
