Job Summary

The Program Engineer has broad experience in structural engineering or materials science and has experience in directed energy research and technology development efforts. 

Essential Functions

  • Communicate – clearly and effectively – complex issues verbally and in writing
  • Monitor and report on project activities and resources to mitigate risk throughout the project life cycle
  • Perform a variety of duties concerned with assisting in the evaluation of the effectiveness of programs and operations
  • Be proficient in the use of commercial software packages such as Microsoft Office (in particular Word, PowerPoint, Outlook and Excel) and SharePoint

Education:  Must have 5 years of experience with an MS degree in engineering, optics, physics or a related field or 10 years of experience with a BS degree in engineering, optics, physics or a related field.

Experience:  Experience with direct government S&T experience is preferred and additional consideration will be given for advanced degrees in Engineering, Physics or a closely related field.
