Regional Sales Manager

Sixpoint was born out of an 800-square-foot garage in Brooklyn, New York City, in 2004 by award-winning homebrewer-turned professional Shane Welch, who had amassed over 1,000 individual recipes. We are currently looking for a Regional Sales Manager for Florida, Ohio and Indiana.


About the Opportunity:


The Regional Sales Manager reports directly to the National Sales Director and manages our wholesalers within the territories of Florida, Ohio and Indiana. The position is responsible for generating awareness, building brand equity, excitement, and enthusiasm, and creating indelible customer experiences. This will entail motivating and inspiring our wholesaler partners, co-developing and executing on distribution strategies with wholesalers, monitoring and analyzing key marketing initiatives in the territory, and developing proprietary and engaging events to stimulate our customer base.

  • Experience developing quarterly and annual strategic business plans for achieving budgeted sales figures for the defined region.

  • Experience developing promotional strategy for regional area in conjunction with on and off premise events

  • Ability to maintain and build sustainable partnership in the top 100 accounts in the given region

  • Ability to competently manage both internal and external teams

  • A “marathon mindset” – meticulous planner, tenacious and determined

  • Strong judgment, professional maturity and unimpeachable integrity

  • Highly personable with an ability to make connections with diverse people in diverse settings

  • Highly entrepreneurial and resourceful

  • Excellent problem solving and data analysis skills

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills

  • High “digital IQ” - familiarity with digital marketing, mobile, social media and web, and the role they play in the sales process

  • Familiarity with CRM and industry sales data systems

  • Familiarity with MS Word, Excel, Powerpoint, and Google Apps

  • Effective time management, ability to multitask, prioritize and plan different responsibilities and initiatives

  • Bachelor's degree required

  • Certified Cicerone preferred


Fermented With:


  • Develops quarterly and annual strategic business plan for achieving budgeted sales figures for the defined market area, and executes on it with wholesaler partners with frequent check-ins to track progress towards goals
  • Recommends and implements sales strategies for improvement based on market research, competitor analyses and Sixpoint sales data trends
  • Benchmarks business data and sales trends for key accounts and provides monthly recommendations to Leadership Team and our wholesalers to aid in execution of the strategic business plan
  • Builds sustainable partnerships at our wholesalers and key accounts
  • Plans and leads monthly meetings (and more if necessary) at our wholesalers to further develop proactive action items to increase sales volume and mindshare in the marketplace
  • Maintains excellent working relationships with wholesaler sales representatives, Area Sales Managers and Marketing Manager
  • Collaborates with other Sixpoint Regional Sales Managers and Marketing for development and implementation of sales best practices that support the Sixpoint business model
  • Designs and develops key events in the territory that drive home the Sixpoint ethos and create memorable, positive customer experiences
  • Manages shared budgets with wholesaler partners in the defined region to maximize market support within the budget parameters
  • Develops promotional strategy for defined market area in conjunction with marketing department for on- and off-premise events and promotions
  • Maintains internal controls and safeguards for managing sales teams budget and actual expenditures
  • Procures draft line and can placements at identified key accounts in the territory
  • Clearly communicates monthly, quarterly, and annual reports; monitor progress and changes and keeps senior leadership abreast of status
  • Assists Sixpoint’s Leadership and Managers in the annual strategy and planning process; administer and review all plans as they relate to the Florida, Ohio and Indiana territory
  • Supports the Leadership Team around issues and trends in craft beer sales
  • Creates and promote a positive and supportive work environment

Special Requirements:


  • The ideal candidate will be based in South Florida

  • Valid driver's license, registered and insured vehicle, clean driving record and ability to drive to and from accounts and distributors regularly

  • Ability to lift and move up to 50lbs
