SIXPOINT:

Sixpoint is a Brooklyn, N.Y.- based craft brewery, born out of 800 square food garage in Red Hook in 2004 by homebrewer Shane Welch. 

 

About the Opportunity:

Reporting directly to the Internal Operations Director, the Internal Operations Coordinator works with the Internal Operations Team and the Finance Team to help us find, grow and retain the constellation of people who make up Sixpoint while maintaining an organized and smoothly run work environment.

Fermented With:

  • Overseeing benefits administration, including managing insurance and 401(K) enrollment, preparing bi-weekly payroll reports and tracking employee budget spend
  • Scheduling and coordinating interviews and team meetings, including monthly all-company meetings, quarterly financial budget check-ins, birthday gatherings and team outings
  • Assisting with employee on-boarding, compensation changes and employee transfers and exits
  • Assisting the Finance Team with Accounts Payable bookings, weekly check run and employee expenses
  • Aiding in miscellaneous tax credits and reports
  • Aiding in the filing and tracking of label registrations
  • Ordering on-site food and office supplies
  • Constructing the weekly internal newsletter
  • Booking staff travel and accommodations
  • Managing petty cash and making bank deposits as needed
  • Managing inbound and outbound mail
  • Filing and organizing legal documents
  • Answering the phone and properly addressing all inquires
  • Leading ad-hoc projects on an as needed basis
  • Maintaining a clean and safe work environment
