Sixpoint is a Brooklyn, New York based craft brewery, born out of an 800 square foot garage in Red Hook in 2004 by homebrewer Shane Welch. Given continued growth, we are looking for a star-performing International Market Supervisor to expand the Sixpoint footprint internationally.

 

About the Opportunity:

 

Reporting to the VP of Finance, the Project Supervisor works as part of the Finance & Strategy Team to focus on growing Sixpoint’s existing business through project management and building and managing new business initiatives based on strategic priorities for 2017 and beyond.

  • Strong knowledge of the craft beer industry and trends

  • Ability to deliver projects on time within budget and scope

  • Ability to develop and maintain strong and productive relationships with domestic and international wholesalers

  • Highly personable with an ability to make connections with diverse people in diverse settings

  • A self-starter with an entrepreneurial and resourceful mindset

  • Effective time management, ability to multitask, prioritize and plan different responsibilities and initiatives

  • Excellent use of data analytics to solve problems and make decisions

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills

  • Extremely organized and thrives on tight deadlines with many moving parts

  • A “marathon mindset” – meticulous planner, tenacious and determined

  • Strong judgment, professional maturity and integrity

  • Proficiency with project management software, sales data systems and tech platforms such as DOMO

  • Ability to work both independently and within a team to accomplish goals

  • Ability to manage budgets with an owner-mindset

  • Ability to manage both internal and external teams

  • Bachelor's degree required

  • Cicerone Level I / Level II Certification preferred

 

Fermented With:

 

  • Manage relationships with our domestic and international business partners, including wholesalers, suppliers and retailers

  • Discover, implement and collaborate on win-win business opportunities with our partners

  • Oversee the planning and building of a new taproom from initial plans to completion by interacting with contractors and staff to enforce projects goals, budgets and deadlines

  • Lead the creation of a product innovation lab based in Portland, Oregon

  • Build and implement Sixpoint product Gantt charts and other project management tools to manage product releases per agreed timelines

  • Team up with the Tech Manager to research and recommend cutting edge tech innovations on an ongoing basis and implement them internally

  • Ensure various projects flow seamlessly, and timeline, scope and budget goals are met

  • Attend industry functions and provide feedback and analysis on market trends

Special Requirements:

 
  • Ability to commute to/from office in Red Hook, Brooklyn during regular office hours (M-F 10-6)

  • Willingness to travel to partner facilities nationwide occasionally/as needed
