Sr. Copywriter/ Copy Manager

The Senior Copywriter/Copy Manager at Mindstream Interactive is a passionate storyteller with a knack for solving complex communication challenges. Equal parts strategic and imaginative, they bring a fresh, creative perspective that inspires our team to craft exceptional brand experiences. They have a strong appreciation for the marriage between visuals & text, and they understand that copy, furthermore content, can make or break digital experiences.

We’re looking for someone with a passion for leading, coaching, and collaborating with project teams from ideation through execution. We expect this role to be ready to jump into current projects, help to grow existing client relationships and fuel new business.


  • Translate business strategies into messaging opportunities
  • Facilitate brainstorming sessions and contribute ideation around posts, photos, videos, infographics and all forms of media
  • Develop concepts and messaging platforms
  • Determine tone, style and structure of content based on space available and brand considerations
  • Writing, editing and proofreading copy in many forms (long-form and short-form writing, compelling/informative, etc.)
  • Advocate for the importance of quality and consistency
  • Interact directly with clients, partner agencies and vendors to foster external and internal team relationships
  • Seek out constructive criticism and incorporate feedback as a part of your process
  • Provide feedback to others and direct a team of designers, copywriters, and freelancers
  • Have a passion for technology and awareness of emerging trends/best practices
  • Cross-collaborate with: design, UX, strategy, front-end and back-end development, project management & account service


  • Strong, impressive portfolio
  • 5+ years of hands-on practice creating impressive brand experiences
  • Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent combination of experience
  • Exceptional writing skills including the ability to write for a wide range of voices, for multiple brands with diverse audiences
  • Ability to solve challenges and actively define creative possibilities
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple deadlines
  • Proven ability to innovate in offering and artifact development to support client needs
  • Proven experience in team management
  • Great attitude; self-motivated; professional demeanor
  • Enthusiasm for and understanding of web trends and technologies, including familiarity with: social, SEO and usability, as well as traditional advertising practices
