POSITION DESCRIPTION

WSP is currently seeking a Financial Analyst to join our Corporate department, located at our Montréal office.  Reporting to the Corporate Controller this position will be responsible for:


RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Month-end tasks and closing related;
  • Journal entries adjustments / reclassification;
  • On a quarterly basis,  prepare and manage claims legal continuity schedule with legal department and business units + monthly follow-up;
  • Backup for payroll entries posting + validation + fringes reconciliation;
  • Other duties as assigned/required.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance;
  • CPA designation required
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant financial analysis or accounting experience;
  • Strong analytical skills;
  • Able to work well under pressure and meet set deadlines;
  • Strong organizational skills ;
  • Resourceful, autonomy;
  • Team spirit;
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Excel;
  • Professional written and verbal communication skills in French and English.
