Reporting to the Vice President, Energy / Canada, you will be responsible for coordinating all business development activities for the Transmission & Distribution Division of Canada and will also be responsible for implementing the strategic plan.


  • Identify new business opportunities and new services to be offered in the Transmission & Distribution market segment;
  • Develop and implement an action plan to increase the pool of potential clients and partners;
  • Collect, verify and communicate to management, competition information and clients, and then target future business opportunities;
  • Responsible for putting in place tools and performance indicators to evaluate activities and achieve the objectives set;
  • Maintain a network of contacts to generate customer meetings; 
  • Perform other related duties related to the position.


  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or a relevant discipline or any combination of studies and relevant experience;
  • Minimum of 10 to 15 years of relevant energy and business development experience or any combination of relevant studies and experience;
  • Demonstrate knowledge of the energy market: transmission and distribution;
  • Strong ability to define current and future needs of the target clientele as well as its competition;
  • Skilled communicator, mobilizer and team player;
  • Essential bilingualism, both oral and written;
  • The holder must be available to travel if necessary, primarily within Canada. #LI-LP1
