Audience Engagement Co-op

Location: Boston


Department Description:


As a co-op on the Audience Engagement team, you will touch multiple media platforms as well as departments within the company.  This co-op will help the Audience Engagement team’s mission of maximizing a story’s reach to its fullest potential. This co-op will work on a variety of social media projects and research with a primary focus on engaging and readers.    



-Social media content creation, calendaring, and scheduling

-Social media event coverage

-Social media research of interest and affinity groups

-Facebook Live coverage

-Community management

-Reporting and analytics

-Ability to work with reporters on deadline

-Attend meetings and work across multiple departments within the organization

-Assist with email deployment


Desired Skills:

- Strong understanding of social media platforms like Instagram, Twitter, and Facebook

-Experience working in a newsroom

-Previous intern or co-op experience

-Attention to Detail

-Professionalism and interpersonal skills

-Strong and effective oral and written skills

-Ability to work independently and juggle multiple tasks
