Do you have 5 or more years experience with independent responsibility for Network Administration? This includes experience with switches, routes, servers, VoIP phone systems, virtualization,
storage networks, network security, and disaster recovery planning.

We are a service company located in the Cleveland area. Our Network consists of 1000+ desktop users located throughout the country in an environment that requires a high degree of network
security.
We seek candidates with experience installing and troubleshooting servers, telecommunications equipment, network hardware, PCs, printer and other peripherals, as well as performing hardware and
software diagnostics. Must perform preventive maintenance and install upgrades, and assist help desk. Must work with outside vendors for technical support. Must configure operating systems
and software applications. Candidates with supervisory experience will be considered for a supervisory role. Candidates without supervisory experience will be considered for a non-supervisory role.
Typical work hours are 40-45 hours/ week Monday through Friday, however must be able to work extended hours, including weekends as needed in order to maintain network and meet business
needs. Must be able to travel out of town occasionally to complete network tasks in co-location.
Responsibilities:
Install and troubleshoot servers, telecommunications equipment, network hardware, PCs, printer and other peripherals, perform hardware diagnostics and repairs.
Perform preventive maintenance and install upgrades.
Assist Helpdesk with duties and responsibilities including:
Document services, warranty tracking, inventory maintenance and repair history in helpdesk software
Contact vendors to technical support
Support Outside Sales group
Provide help desk support for internal and external customers
Configure operating systems and software applications
Design, document, test or modify computer programs related to machine operating systems.
Other duties as assigned.
Essential skills, training and experience:
Prefer Bachelors degree plus 5 years’ experience in related field or high school diploma/equivalent and equivalent work experience in Network Administration including experience with switches,
routers, servers, VoIP phone systems, virtualization (ESX 3.02), and storage networks (EMC FC SAN).
High degree of technical aptitude.
Must be detail oriented, customer focused, proactive and able to work under pressure.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills.
Computer proficiency in Outlook, Word, Excel, Internet and proficiency in basic office equipment.
