MMM is currently seeking a Civil Engineering Technologist to join our Infrastructure and Environment division, located at our Ottawa office. Reporting to the department manager this position will be responsible for various multidisciplinary design projects, which will include drawings, plans, designs, map, graphs and other related materials.



  • Primary duties include drafting;
  • Prepare preliminary and detailed drawings, designs, and plans;
  • Design and reproduce maps and graphs;
  • Perform calculations, assessments and inspections;
  • Review and analyze plans, legislation, policies;
  • Prepare presentation materials and proposals;
  • On-site field inspection for local municipal projects;
  • Other duties as assigned



  • Post-secondary education in Civil Engineering Technology from a recognized institution;
  • Proficiency using AutoCad a must;
  • 1-2 years of relevant experience is an asset;
  • Eligible for membership with OACETT;
  • Experience working on city/ municipal /provincial/ private land development and infrastructure design project teams;
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite;
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills;
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks with tight deadlines and changing priorities;
  • Previous site inspection experience is an asset;
