Summary of Position: Zachary Piper, LLC’s ‘Mission and Command Solutions’ and ‘Enterprise Solutions’ subsidiaries are specialized service providers, focused on delivering niche human capital solutions within the Commercial and Defense IT, Applications and Intelligence arenas. Our customers engage in world-class technology challenges and depend on us to provide highly specialized talent in support of their most critical functions, many of which are considered mission critical and/or critical to national security.
Some of the areas in which we focus include software development, applications development, systems integration, cyber security, IT management and support of IT and Intelligence related Department of Defense initiatives. Our customers include many of the Fortune 500 as well as multiple government agencies.
Zachary Piper, LLC is an early-stage, young, dynamic company with aggressive expansion plans. We are seeking multiple Account Managers that are willing to learn our account management, recruiting, and delivery structure, prior to transitioning into a full-time account manager role. The focus of the account manager role is to drive customer acquisition and expansion, focusing on both business development activities as well as managing, directing and working effectively with the internal recruiting team. Account managers on our business development team focus on winning long-term programs within IT Infrastructure, Software Development and Systems Engineering in both cleared and non-cleared environments. Examples of our customers and clients’ include: SAIC, Lockheed Martin, Northrop Grumman, Bank of America, Wells Fargo, Verizon Communications, Sprint and Johnson and Johnson.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Meet with current and potential customers in order to learn about their technology related programs and how Zachary Piper can provide solutions to them. Develop relationships with customers through multiple meetings, working lunches, and solutions focused discussions. Work with the recruiting and client delivery organization in order to ensure that consultants are best aligned with client’s requirements in terms of skill, culture, objectives, and budget. Become and integral part of our customer’s program management team through consistent delivery and execution, earning a reputation for delivery high-quality results with a value-focused approach to business. Prior to a promotion into Account Management you will be provided with a comprehensive training program and must be able to demonstrate proficiency with the following:
o Understand business strategy, identify recruiting needs, develop and execute recruiting strategy to hire and retain top talent to meet business’ needs.
o Utilize social media to network with relevant user groups to recruit for professional talent.
o Attend weekly and monthly local professional organizations in an effort to network face to face with top talent.
o Meet and interview prospective candidates, in-person, on a daily basis.
o Communicate with hiring managers including effectively listening to, and understanding their verbal requirements of the technical people that they are seeking, inclusive of the timeframe in which they seek those people.
o Enter all candidate information (calls, lunches, resumes, salary, employment data, etc.) into the relevant database for future reference and compliance.
o Clearly articulate who you recommend for each job and why, inclusive of a detailed summary of their prior employment history and references.
o Coach and teach interviewing and hiring techniques as well as “best practices” to your fellow team members.
o Attend meetings with Fortune 500 customers at their corporate offices and represent the company in a highly professional manner.
The candidate will have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. This position requires excellent in-person communication skills and professionalism, including an extremely positive and contagious winning attitude. The ability to communicate effectively over e-mail is a must. He or she should be business oriented and have a conceptual understanding how business strategies link to recruiting initiatives. Experience working or interning within a Fortune 500 organization is a plus, previous work experience in an inside sales environment, or experience in a service-oriented business is preferred. Experience working with software or consulting professionals in high- tech industries is preferred but not required.
In addition, the candidate should have the following experience:
-Must have strong web navigation and computer application skills, with proven experience working with applications such as Outlook, Word, Excel or a web-based application (i.e. Saleforce or Taleo) as part of a prior role.
