passionate about expanding the boundaries of what we offer our clients – and we’re

looking for candidates with the creative daring and digital savvy to join that effort.

From creative ideation to execution, Weber Shandwick’s interns form the foundation of a

talented team that generates groundbreaking, award-winning programs. During the

internship program, interns will work on iconic brands they encounter every day.

The Essentials:

4 Thinking: Do it out of the box.

4 Digital: Know all the relevant platforms, what brands are doing on them and what they

should do next.

4 Communication: Speak, write and edit succinctly and compellingly.

4 Management: Meet deadlines, put out fires and multi-task. Work fast, and work well.

4 Interpersonal: Play nice, whether it’s in a team, with a team or independently.

4 Technical: Know Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook. Design and video editing skills

are a plus.

4 Spark: Set yourself apart with something unignorable.


4 Create: Written words, videos, images

4 Monitor: Track brands in traditional and social media

4 Hustle: Pitch stories to media, develop media lists

4 Research: Analyze brands using various resources

4 Plan: Assist in event coordination and logistics

4 Engage: Share big ideas in brainstorms and with teams

In the Weeds:

4 40 hours per week (8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. with a flexible lunch hour… if you can pry

yourself from your amazing projects)

4 $10 per hour, plus free sodas and coffee

4 Fall program: September-December

4 Spring program: January-May

4 Summer program: May-September

                Spring Internship Program (January – May) – Interviews begin on/after September 1

                Summer Internship Program (June – August) – Interviews begin on/after January 1

                Fall Internship Program (September – December) – Interviews begin on/after June 1
