Our Silicon Valley (Sunnyvale) office is looking for a Consumer Technology Media Strategist who is seasoned in consumer technology media relations, specifically in the area of mobility and mobile devices.  This position will have ownership of media strategy and execution for a world leading consumer technology client, as well as supervisory responsibility for account team members. This includes building strategic media programs aligned with our client’s goals, and working directly with industry, business and consumer media on a daily basis.

• Building and maintaining excellent relationships with key media
• Counseling junior members of the team to effectively work with the media
• Allocating agency resources in accordance with our client's budget.
• Bringing a client-focused attitude that results in work being performed to the highest quality standards
• Proven aptitude to solve problems, handle crises, and make quick decisions with incomplete information
• Exceptional client service record with ability to counsel and interact effectively with senior management at client organizations.

• 8+ years of consumer tech media experience, preferably with a global agency or consumer technology company
• Client interaction, media relations and product knowledge
• Mobile and other consumer-facing technologies
• Working in and/or with large, marketing-oriented companies
• Familiarity with social media and digital campaigns
• Effective team supervision and leadership
• Excellent communication/presentation skills; verbal and written
• BA or BS in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism or related field
